This is a blog devoted primarily to a discussion of K-12 public education in the United States and education research. Education finance, professional development, and instructional technology will be topics of special focus.
I am a practicing school administrator in a suburban public school district where I am involved in instructional technology and curriculum. I have taught at the high school level and been an elementary building administrator. I have worked in urban, rural, and suburban districts. I am also a part-time graduate student in an Ed Leadership program. Experience and interests make me a fox in Isaiah Berlin's taxonomy. Even though I have had some broad exposures, they make me acutely aware of how much I don't know. So, in this blog I'm hoping to engage in dialogue, because when our individual stances and fixed ideas are challenged, all of us learn more.
